A canção "Coração de Estudante" sempre me arrebata para o calçadão de
pedra dos corredores antigos da Escola de Nossa Senhora, em Currais
Novos.
Sombreado por grandes, velhas e aconchegantes algarobas, eu, bermuda azul-marinho, camisa branca com o símbolo da escola no canto direito do peito, os velhos e rasgados congas nos pés.
Eu e meus amigos brincávamos de tica, bila, bola. Aprendíamos a tabuada e o Hino Nacional. Na hora do recreio pegávamos a fila para nos deliciar com a "sopa de dente cariado" como a chamávamos, por causa dos pequenos cubos de macarrão recheados com proteína de soja. A hora da merenda era sagrada.
Em boa parte dos eventos escolares a voz de Milton Nascimento ecoava pela escola toda, trazendo uma sensação de pertencimento.
Foi uma realidade boa, de aprendizado e companheirismo. E uma boa música invadindo pra sempre a nossa história de vida.
Era assim na década de 80.

I had this game I had this game when it first came out in 81. I really dont rebmmeer the exact object. 2 TO 4 players travel around the board to reach the tower. There are tombs and crypts you can open to find treasure or sometimes battle brigands. Cheddar is the name of one of kitties. I would love to win the PetCam so I could see where my cat "Harley" goes all day. All the neibhgors know him very well, so I would love to see what he is up to.

I met Milton and Ruby only a few times, and it was many years ago. I had not heard of his passing. I have been going thugroh my own difficult times, but his warmth and smile and the few soft and encouraging words he spoke to me so many years ago stuck with me, and that's how I ended up finding this website. Months ago I was clearing thugroh some old pictures, getting ready to move on to the next chapter of my life. Listening to Jazz Music and I came across pictures of Donna and the Murrill children. It put a smile on my face, as I wiped away my tears. Those tears have returned to me now, finding out very much by accident of his passing. To Ruby and the rest of the family, please know that it is very much in part my memories of you and Milton that have helped me get thugroh these times and keep a smile on my face and not let my experiences drag me into despair. My thoughts are with you all, you touched my life.I thank you for that, and for all the wonderful music.
